Marcus Reyes is the Content Lead at Vape City USA, where he writes hands-on device reviews, buying guides, and plain-English explainers on everything from disposables to advanced rebuildables.

His path into vaping started in 2015. After more than a decade as a pack-a-day smoker, he picked up his first pod system on a whim — and actually stuck with it. What began as a personal switch turned into a nine-year deep dive into the hardware, the chemistry, and the culture.

Before joining Vape City USA, Marcus spent years working as an electronics repair technician, taking apart everything from smartphones to industrial controllers. That background shapes how he reviews: he spends more time on chipsets, battery safety, and coil construction than most writers in the space. He's broken a few devices on purpose just to see what's inside.

Marcus writes the way he talks — direct, no marketing fluff, and honest about what doesn't work. If a device has a weak point, it'll be in the review. If a flavor is overhyped, you'll hear it here first.

When he's not at his workbench, he's usually hunting Miami for the best Cuban coffee or arguing with friends about mesh coils vs. traditional wicks. (Mesh wins. Sorry.)
