ALP Nicotine Pouches
ALP is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch brand launched in November 2024 by Tucker Carlson and Turning Point Brands (NYSE: TPB). Carlson created ALP after his falling out with ZYN maker Philip Morris International over a declined sponsorship deal. The brand positions itself as a moist pouch alternative to ZYN, with more pouches per can and a wider range of nicotine strengths.
ALP Pouch Flavors
ALP nicotine pouches come in five flavors, all available in every nicotine strength:
- Chilled Mint: Crisp, icy mint with a cooling finish
- Mountain Wintergreen: Bold wintergreen with a smooth bite
- Refreshing Chill: Balanced mint-forward coolness
- Sweet Nectar: Subtly sweet, smooth flavor profile
- Tropical Fruit: Mixed tropical fruit blend
We carry all five flavors in 3mg, 6mg, and 9mg strengths.
ALP Nicotine Strengths
ALP pouches come in three strengths at Vape City USA:
- 3mg: Light nicotine for casual users or those stepping down from stronger products
- 6mg: Mid-range strength comparable to ZYN 6mg
- 9mg: Strong dose for heavier nicotine users
ALP also makes a 12mg strength that is not currently available in our store. Each can contains 20 pouches — 5 more than ZYN's 15 per can.
Moist Pouch Format
ALP pouches use a moist format rather than the drier format used by ZYN. Moist pouches release flavor and nicotine faster when placed under the upper lip. The trade-off is that moist pouches produce more drip (saliva), which some users prefer and others don't. If you are used to ZYN's dry format, ALP will feel noticeably different in the first few uses.
ALP vs ZYN
ZYN is the market leader in nicotine pouches. Here is how ALP compares:
| Feature | ALP | ZYN |
|---|---|---|
| Pouches per can | 20 | 15 |
| Format | Moist | Dry |
| Strengths | 3mg, 6mg, 9mg, 12mg | 3mg, 6mg |
| Flavors | 5 | 11+ |
| Nicotine release | Faster (moist) | Gradual (dry) |
| Tobacco-free | Yes | Yes |
ALP wins on pouches per can (20 vs 15) and strength range (up to 12mg vs 6mg max). ZYN has more flavor options and a drier, less drip-producing format.
