The 3% and 5% figures are nicotine by weight. 5% works out to 59 mg/mL and 3% to 35 mg/mL. Same flavor, different strength. The choice is about how much nicotine you want, not how it tastes.

Are mango JUUL pods coming back?
Not as a JUULpod, and not right now. But the category door did open, and that part is new.
On May 5, 2026 the FDA issued marketing orders to Glas Inc. for a set of pods including Gold, a mango, and Sapphire, a blueberry. It was the agency's first authorization of e-cigarette products that aren't tobacco or menthol flavored. For six years the authorized list had been tobacco and menthol only.
The detail that matters is why. The Glas device carries built-in access restriction. It won't fire until the user verifies they're 21 or older through a smartphone app. Those flavors got through because the hardware answered the youth-access objection. The FDA didn't change its mind about mango.
That sets the bar for everyone else. A mango JUULpod would need JUUL to file its own application and clear the same concern. Nothing like it is authorized today. Mint JUUL pods aren't authorized. Menthol JUUL pods are, in both 3% and 5%. About 2,780 searches a month go to mint JUUL pods, and a good share of those people could buy a legal pod today without knowing it.
They aren't identical. Mint read sweeter and rounder. Menthol is sharper and colder, closer to a menthol cigarette than to a mint candy. If mint was your flavor, menthol is the nearest authorized thing on the market. It's worth one pack before you decide.

Why third-party pods aren't the answer
Search "JUUL compatible pods" and you'll find plenty. Around 1,900 people a month do. These are third-party pods built to fit the JUUL device, often in the fruit flavors JUUL discontinued.
None of them are authorized for this device. The JUUL Device is a closed pod system. The authorization the FDA granted covers the device together with JUULpods, not with whatever fits the slot. Refillable JUUL pods sit in the same position.
